Bumping this!
This would be a great addition in IF, as it means a lot to BA.
Did you know:
The Negus livery itself first appeared in 1974?
The Negus livery was the first livery worn by the BA we know today.
On the Negus 747, the “a” in British Airways is left purposely lower case? This is how it was on the original, and is one of its defining features.

Would you like to see this in IF? Drop a vote!

That’s interesting about the lowercase a

We need it as there aren’t any special or heritage liveries available for the 747-400.

Fun Fact

British Airways is the largest current operator of the 747. They have 36 currently in service. Wow!

By far the worst looking retro livery. Still cool but the Landor and BOAC are cool

I sure hope this bird makes it through the current crisis without being sent to the desert.

Lots of BA 744’s have been sent to Bournemouth airport. I saw the Negus flying to Miami yesterday under a very unusual callsign- almost as if it was a repatriation or something but that doesn’t make sense.

I think this would be a great addition if and when the Queen gets a rework 👍🏽

It’s a beauty just not sure how long the Queen will be around for! Love the retro liveries.

Voted! Great aircraft. Hopefully it’s added before it’s retired.

It’s a real shame these beauties are being sent to the 747 retirement home. Truly the end of an era. Very unfortunate times. The Queen won’t be forgotten though. Hopefully one day we do see a 747 rework and the 747 will prosper in the IF skies for years to come. If you’d like to see this, vote!

For my birthday this year, I couldn’t resist getting myself a model of this beast 😍
