British Airways 777-300ER Los Angeles to London

Flew one of the most competitive international routes from LAX with an aircraft I actually saw depart a couple days ago before the fog came in.

Boarding at the iconic Tom Bradley International Terminal in the afternoon, just before the fog rolls in off the Pacific

Pushing back

Listening to the deep bass note of the #1 GE90 as it spools up while we wait to taxi behind an All Nippon 787-9 bound for Tokyo-Haneda as NH105

Speedbird 282 Heavy blasting off of 25L into a Pacific Sunset

Back over the coast over the Pacific Coast Highway south of Malibu

The sun finally slipped below the horizon east of the Sierras

Sunrise over the North Atlantic this time of year is at around 8:30

Descending through the overcast over the East Midlands

Landing in London

Parked at Terminal 5 before being towed over to the British Airways maintenance ramp for a cleaning, whereafter this jet will be heading down to Cape Town, South Africa in the evening as BA43

Thank you, I try my best!

Even though this was a solo flight, I tried to keep the description accurate to the actual BA282 and NH105 of 1/2/25. OZ202/203 (Asiana A350-900) and LH452/453 (Lufthansa A380-800) are in the background as well.
