British Airways 747-400 “Oneworld” Livery
Welcome to a feature request for the British Airways 747-400 “Oneworld” Livery. You may be sitting here asking, “Out of all the liveries on all the planes, why did you choose this one?”. Many factors contributed to me wanting this livery. For me, it’s as if the “Oneworld” is supposed to be on all their planes because it fits in so well. Here are some facts you should know about Oneworld alliance.
Before Oneworld launched, airlines such as American Airlines, Qantas, Cathay Pacific, and of course British Airways were already in the alliance. Oneworld then officially launched February 1, 1999. After the launch, Oneworld airlines, and affiliates served 648 destinations in 139 countries, carrying a total of 181 million passengers with their 1,577 aircraft.
In 2012, Oneworld had their tenth anniversary. Over the years they accumulated 10 members who carried 2.5 Billion passengers, which generated about $500 Billion. Today, the Oneworld Alliance is one of the most well-known alliances out there, as well as one of the most successful.
