Hello everybody, welcome to my next trip report. Today, we will be flying our next international route out of Australia, finally exiting the Oceania region, but rest assured, we will be back in no time! Our journey will be operated by B-17803, a 5.7 year old Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner, built and delivered to EVA Airways in August 2019. She was one of the first to join the fleet. We will be experiencing the amazing Royal Laurel Class on board the 787-10 on our trip to Taipei!
Flight Details

Flight duration: 7hrs 56mins
Airline: EVA Airways
Seat: 7A (Royal Laurel Class)
Route: Brisbane International (BNE) → Taipei Taoyuan (TPE)
Here’s our journey today, ready to board shortly with clouds quickly covering the city right after days of sunshine had finished
Upon taking our seats, we were offered some pre departure drinks. I chose just a simple orange juice.
See you later, Brisbane!
Upon reaching cruise, the meal service began. I was given a delicious amuse bouche, consisting of Camembert Cheese and Sun dried tomato. Following this, the main meal came, which I had preordered the steak with potatoes. After this delicious meal, I didn’t say no to some chocolate cake. The flight attendants have dimmed the windows and cabin, and is our time to get some rest.
Woke up to us cruising just east of the Philippines. The breakfast meal service had just started, and I was already hungry! I chose some delicious Shanghai Noodles served alongside pork, as well as congee and a plate of fruit afterwards.
After the service, it was time to descend into Taipei already!
Sunrise hits as we are on finals into Taoyuan
Welcome to Taiwan!
Deboarding the plane after an amazing journey with EVA Air! We will now be taken to the terminal by a bus to go through customs and immigration!
Thank you for viewing this! I added some exposure to the photos so it will be “easier” to view them.
