In the real world, the light of an aircraft is to signal tower or planes they are coming or show they are where so it will be much brighter than what it is in the IF. In the IF the light’s brightness just so poor (except for strobe light, you can see it shining on the ground). So, I hope in the future update will be brighter so that we can see the airplane far away :)
they must do it :)
meh… :|
it is bright enough don’t need to mention :\

Yes they should do this. The lights are so dim and pilots expect ATCs to understand that their plane is “off” when they switch off their beacon but it’s not usually very visible so yea…

It’s known that IF needs a lighting overhaul

They need the runway lights to shine brighter as well. Even in the fog, they need the lights to be brighter.

Landing lights, taxi lights, logo light

feel like lighting is a big issue in IF apart from the 737,757,787 needing a face lift. I always felt like the landing lights we not so bright and obviously night flight is horrible.

Hasn’t this already been requested?
No time to search myself as I need to go, but I believe so.

Sort of, over multiple topics. Overall, lights in IF need a rework.
while I was flying at night in a Delta 737-800 I noticed I couldn’t see the tail logo. This makes me think that Infinite Flight should have logo lights.
With the new update out, the minimum visibility just got even more minimum. And I love flying IFR while in solo or whenever there is minimums on the servers. And when ever I land and am at taxi speed its a bit hard to find the taxiways. My idea is that we add the neon blue taxiway lights like at the real airport so people don’t accidentally go through grass or another aircraft in live because I know for a fact that some people would.

I like the cabin lights, cockpit lights and autoland by the A320. So I hope the 3 will add to ALL airplanes 😊😃
Hi everyone!
I went to India for holidays and I came back home 3 days ago. I flew an A333 (it was a night flight) and I did not sleep one minute. I was just looking outside, looking at these beautiful unknown city lights (over Turkmenistan, Iran…).
Check this:

Would it not be great to have this on IF? I would love to reduce screen luminosity, turn on integrated or flood cockpit lighting and admire these city lights… Or simply take the wing view and see it…
I am not asking…
Is there any news on whether or not there will be cockpit lighting because i find it a little dark in here [image]
It would be very nice to get lights which illuminate planes and the ground near to the terminal like on the photo. Also this addition will decorate night scenery in IF.

Since the 787 is in development I thought it would be a good idea to recommend the APU lights found on the back of the 787. On the current version there is just a single light in the middle, not the 2 side by side.
I find that they would look really neat in IF and distinguish the aircraft very nicely. I read a topic on the lighting for the wing, but I couldn’t find anything about APU lights specifically.
Forgive me if my term “APU light” is incorrect, all I know is that they’re located near th…

Here’s a quick photo I made of what detailed runway lighting may look like in Infinite Flight. Would fit right in! Would provide the approaching pilot with a locatable landing zone. And it looks cool

This would be a rather interesting Implementaiton.
I know we already have existing “Inactive Runway” Crosses in Red blocking the runway, but this would be a more realistic type of Warning system. Mainly alerting Pilots on the ground to possible incursions etc.
For people who are not aware what these lights are/indicate. Heres some info about there purpose:
Ive been flying at KSEA lately in the Seattle region and I like having the glideslope lights, but they are kind of hard to see until you’re right on top of them. Maybe in the future y’all could make them easier to see? Definitely a nice feature tho.
There are also support topics for lights not working properly etc.
