Not sure where you got this, but he was 12 when SWA started operations
He didn’t exactly help with Southwest itself, he helped found something called “Morris Air.” It was a charter airline based on the West Coast. Right after he left the company, they went into a financial crisis and merged with Southwest. Southwest grew larger from the merger.
Right after he left, he went on to work with officials at New York JFK airport and other businessmen to help build his new airline, jetBlue.

Well, between the founding and merger there is over 20 years, so I would probably change it to “Expansion” or more along the lines of that compared to “founding”
