Last week Friday, at OR Tambo International Airport in South Africa, a little boy was heartbroken when security wouldn’t allow his toy plush python to travel with him. The snake was received as a birthday present from his grandmother. No statement has been made by the airport about the matter.
My Thoughts:
Honestly, this is just terrible. I am pretty sure nobody would mistake it for a real snake if they saw the child holding it. The article also states that there weren’t any rules or regulations against this except for No ‘Replicas’ Allowed. Honestly this kind of upsets me to say the least.
God forbid his snake bites people amirite? Very inconsiderate of the family to assume that they could bring their harmless snake on board. Jokes aside, airlines do pointless and annoying things which is something we have to live with :P
Hm, interesting. Honestly this happens all the time so I don’t really know why all of a sudden it’s just a big deal? I think that a lot of people feel they are important just because of who they are or what they are, but honestly this happens everyday. I do feel bad tho but cmon.
This is a bit of a weird one. Airlines are not very clear about their policy in replica toys sometimes. But a child’s stuffed snake?! Sounds a bit odd to me.
