I’m just gonna add my vote to this topic! Since we can’t have any gulfstream aircraft, the Global 8000 is the next best long range jet, and it would be very nice to have it

I enjoy doing semi-realistic flights, including flights that I might make if I were a CIA or Military Intelligence Specialist (I’m not  ). Right now I was going to try to fly from Dallas to Dubai, and the only private jet we have is the CL35. I can’t even make it to Europe on it’s fuel capacity (I might with the AP+ fuel consumption rules). I appreciate having the 350, but it’s definitely time we got a truly long range private jet. And, since AP+ is a thing, long range flights are more tempting than ever!

Hopefully, in light of this blog post, it should be rather easy for the IF Development team to add the Global 7500 and Global 8000 together as they are so similar!!

Can someone help me find the difference between the global 7500 and this?

Global 8000 vs 7500

  • Higher max cruise speed (M0.95 vs M0.925)
  • Higher “high-speed” cruise (M0.90-0.92 vs M0.90)
  • Longer range (8000nm vs 7700nm)

The aircraft dimensions and weight limits are more or less identical.
