Boeing has just unleashed the 777x BBJ. This jet is capable of traversing half of the world with a full tank of fuel. According to CNN “The BBJ 777X planes will have a range of 11,645 nautical miles (21,570 km), enabling them to offer the longest commercial flight in the world.” This would make it the Business Jet with the longest range in history.
However, the distance traveled on the record-breaking flights is a mere 9,000 nautical miles (16,700 kilometers), putting it below the range Boeing’s new jets are capable of. With this, it is most likely that governments will adopt the aircraft to carry political leaders.
“Two versions of the jets have been made, the BBJ 777-8 and 777-9, with the latter offering a slightly shorter range of 11,000 nautical miles (20,370 kilometers) but boasting a larger cabin.” Boeing has not made any sales of the jet, but many are planned in the future.
With that, we leave off. The 777x BBJ should make some great sales in the near and distant future.
it may be very wise to ask this question, but I want to know if when the airline company starts using this aircraft the infinite flight team will add it in the game too?
Damn that looks nice! Might think about getting a BBJ777-8X so I can fly London-Sydney/Auckland without having to sit in the agony that is the economy legroom for 20 hours
