Does the real 787 have tinted cockpit windows…? Every photo I see of a Boeing 787, the cockpit windows are dark. In the game however it’s untainted and the cockpit interior seems to be the wrong colour, as a result the cockpit windows look brighter. Odd thing but it bothers me a lot to a point where I hardly use the Boeing 787.
So I’d love to see either the windows tinted or the cockpit re-worked with corrected darker textures and a live cockpit

The IFS 787 is a really good model overall. Just let down badly by the cockpit and cockpit windows. Both things that shouldn’t have been there from day 1. Colours for textures isn’t something limited by anything.

This is why I think that a rework not from scratch (also known as a soft rework) would be better. Would also reduce the chances of variants removal.

Voted! I would love to be able to fly a better-tuned 787, with the expansive route network and just the airplane itself. I’ve flown on all 3 variants (twice on -9 and twice on -10 with United, once on -9 and once on -8 with Air Canada), it’s a nice ride. I’ve heard it might be already planned or smething and they’re going to do the -9 if so, would love all 3 but if they were to only do 1 variant I think the -9 is the best choice due to its popularity globally.

LOL this will never happen…. Vistara is merging with Air India, not Air India Express. AirAsia India has merged with Air India Express, there’s all of AirAsia India’s A320neo and A320ceo aircraft will become a part of Air India Express

I hardly use the 787 family in game. Even though it is my favourite plane with the 777. I tend to use the 777 a lot and only used the 787’s for about 4-5 of my flights. I am using it right now. Latam 787-9, Santiago to Melbourne. But honestly without the live cockpit its kind of a let down. Lets hope when the Max comes out they get a live cockpit as they have almost the same cockpit like what happened with the a320 when the a350 came out.

Agreed….I would also love to fly the 787 (Air India, Vistara, Oman Air, Etihad, British Airways, Virgin Atlantic etc.) but deterred because I find the model poor especially the cockpit

I just flew on a Qantas 787-9 we really need this rework the one in IF is so outdated at least add a live cockpit!
