Boeing 787-10 Certified

Good news out of Boeing, the 787-10 has been officially certified by the FAA. Now that Boeing has the aircraft certified they can begin delivieries of the aircraft. Expect deliveries to begin in the next month or two.

With the battery problems that affected the 787 program before a quick and clean certification was needed to recuperate some of the financial fallout from the delivery delays.

Why was the aircraft added into Infinite flight so early ?

Popularity. To be honest, when I first started playing. I was under the assumption that the 787-10 was already flying commercially 🤷‍♂️.

An excellent jet for those popular medium haul routes. I do hope Singapore Airlines operates them down to my city instead of their 777

It said Singapore Airlines was getting the first delivery, so I assume they are also the launch customer.

I don’t think we will see big orders for a while for the 787-10 until the 777 has passed its day

This is awesome, can’t wait to see it flying!

Awesome news to hear, I can’t wait to see Singapore Airlines’ 787-10 to come to Jakarta and replacing the existing 772/A330 services 😊

That wont happen. The 777Xs will be much newer than the 787s and the 787-10 is no where in the same field as the 777s. You cant compare a long range skinny route aircraft to s long route full route aircraft.
