Boeing 777X First Flight, Production, etc.

The future will most likely be supersonic. Airbus has several patents in line for ram/scram jets. They key is to make them fuel efficient.

This is what I think.

737MAX- Split winglets… AMAZING
A320neo-Grrrrrreat
A330neo- What The Heck
A350 - Absolutely Beautiful
787 - Splendid wings
777X - even better wings then the 787… and the A330neo

Luxury and comfort is vital.

I think the 777X and 737MAX is not getting enough attention. People need to move on from the 787 & 747-8 and give their attention to the 777X and 737MAX

I’m amazed by how different people’s views are on the 777X compared to the A330neo

The folding wing tips though unique can pose problems. You wouldn’t want it to detach mid flight due to some “line of weakness” or “metal fatigue”. I’m rather bent on the idea.

We don’t see any military aircraft with wings flying off during flight, even in high G maneuvers

I don’t like it.

This is true

They don’t use them mid-flight

I love the 777X! The 777 was/is my favorite plane already. I can’t wait to see it fly. To me it looks like a regular 777 with 787 wings on it

On 777-300ER, 777-200LR, and 777F have raked wingtips. 777-300 don’t

I know, I meant the entire wing

The 787 and 777X are much more raked then the 777-200LR 777-300ER and 767-400

The folding wing tips is a cool mechanism
