Bump, hope the wing can be fixed soon.
The 777 in this game is already quite solid, though not the latest and greatest it still holds up quite nicely. Having said that, one pet peeve I have is the landing gear of the 77L and 77F (it is modelled incorrectly).
The 77L/F in real life has the landing gear of the 77W minus the strut, but in IF the 77L/F has the landing gear of the 77E instead (note the addition of torque link):

These pics were borrowed from a post from way back when the 777 was due to be reworked, and despite garnering a respectable level of attention, I found it appalling that the differences werenât addressed despite being clearly depicted and explained.
Though this issue has been raised before, concerns have been shut down with the excuse of remodelling the landing gear simply being not worth the time and effort of the devs. However with the timeline for developments now compressed, I believe the 777 would benefit from a light rework and that it would be feasible to finally get this detail right. If the IF community successfully lobbied hard for the A321NEO to have more accurate winglets, then surely this is not the most unreasonable request to make either. While the devs are working on new and exciting things, I do hope that they do not also neglect the aircraft that are already in game.
Well the devs donât have the 777âs as a priority to rework, just look at the support the A350 got to get its mask fixed.
The devs currently are prioritising rework of older aircraft such as the 320 family. It could be a while till we could see a A350 and 777 light reworkâŚ
I agree with what youâre saying, what I was trying to say is that refining little details donât take up as much time as they used to and should be more accomplishable than ever before, and thus I hope that they can apportion some of their time and resources to work on things that are considered âless importantâ.
In the grand scheme of things, there remains a fleet of unloved legacy aircraft (gotta do a welfare check on the 767 fans) that are far outdated and in desperate need of attention, so hopefully they can get to reworking older aircraft and having more consistent quality across the fleet.
