But I’ll also be realistic and to expect all the 767 variants to be added is a bit much. IMO just like the 777 variants a 767F, 767-3 and 767-4ER should be enough.
Even though there was a “ battle of the heavies” not long ago and the 767 came as second. The vote between 787 v 767 should have never happened ( I also don’t mind the 787 being reworked at all ) but the truth is the 767 should have been by default the following aircraft being re-worked.
But to be fair, we actually got 4 777 variants if I’m not mistaken: the 777-200LR, 777-200ER, 777-300ER, and 777-F. So maybe we could throw in the 767-200?
If im not wrong the second development team is first doing an experimental aircraft being the PA-28 and after that they will continue to help reduce the main IF team’s workload but as for prior aircraft again i might be wrong but im pretty certain thay those were made completely in house with only the IF developers doing everything needed
I’d much rather have the -200ER instead. Would you rather have the one with countless liveries (which could in a distant dream be used to add the KC-46), or the one with only Delta, United (both of which have the -300ER) and maybe Continental? My choice is obvious.

I highly doubt they will all be added. -300 will probably be the only variant. And the 300F if were really lucky.
Yeah I mean I want the -8 and -10 of the 787 to be reworked so eventually all aircraft in the sim have a live cockpit like RFS. I mean the planes that IF has reworked or added with live cockpits are miles better than the RFS ones. But RFS has a leg up in IF because at least the 747 and 767 are usable
Recently flown on the 767 on a 10 hour transatlantic as well as a 45 minute domestic flight in Japan. The versatility of this bird is so overlooked. Just an absolute shame the trigger hasn’t been pulled on making the app’s version remotely flyable while at the same time other aircraft have gotten in some cases multiple updates.
I think its more about the fact the 767 is retiring right now, not a lot of carriers are actually currently operating it. So people would rather “invest” their votes into something more actual and long-term (the 787).
This doesn’t make any sense, though, because with this logic, the 767 would never get voted in! There will always be a new plane to add or another one to rework that may be “newer” and “more relevant,” but the truth is that the 787 can wait another year because it is not going anywhere anytime soon and people also try and say they voted for the 787 because no one flys the 767 in IF. The only true reason why that is true is because the 767 is unflyable. I guarantee anyone that if the 767 were added, it would be one of the most flown planes in the game with its insane variety of liveries and routes that it flies.
But a flight sim is not supposed to replicate real life perfectly. I mean IF might as well add something RFS has called real time flights which would allow for these people to do flights that are only flying up in the air currently
