Hello Community! It’s time to bring Retro Vibes to the present. I am pleased to introduce the
Garuda Indonesia Retro Livery (1970’s Scheme) on the Boeing 747-200
PK-GSA (City of Jakarta) at EDDF/FRA in September 1986
Garuda Indonesia used a Boeing 747-200 in 1980-2003. At that time, Garuda Indonesia operated 6 Boeing 747-200 aircrafts. At that time, Garuda Indonesia in famous liveries such as Stick Hockey (Livery 1969-1985) had a nose name on each of their aircraft.
At that time, this aircraft was used for long-haul routes which were quite unique as you can see below:
