The 1970’s was a great time, Clubbing, Afros and also aviation. Aviation in 1974 lead to tragedy, when Turkish 981 (A DC-10) crashed outside of Paris killing 346. But it was also great as this big bundle of joy first flew.
There are many distinct features. The most obvious is the shortened “hump”, and also the 6 Windows on the upper level on the KLM B742, which can also be seen on the original 747-100. This 747 is the Grandad of the newest 747-8.
Its got more vintage feels in the cockpit, which had many working objects but lacks 3D Character, such as on the Airbus A320 Family. The liveries it has, some retro and some modern. But the character it has is amazing. This is truely a classic.
According to Boeing707, this aircraft is perfect in every way. Even though most of these beautiful heritage aircraft are gone, scrapped or turned into Hotels this is an extraordinary airplane. It might feel too old for you realism fans, that like modern day technology, but all the technology has to start somewhere!
