The Boeing 747 is an American wide-bodycommercial jet airliner and cargo aircraft, often referred to by its original nickname, “Jumbo Jet”. Its distinctive hump upper deck along the forward part of the aircraft has made it one of the most recognizable aircraft,[7] and it was the first wide-body airplane produced. Manufactured by Boeing’s Commercial Airplane unit in the United States, the 747 was originally envisioned to have 150 percent greater capacity than the Boeing 707,[8] a common large commercial aircraft of the 1960s. First flown commercially in 1970, the 747 held the passenger capacity record for 37 years.[9]
The first 747-100s were built with six upper deck windows (three per side) to accommodate upstairs lounge areas. Later, as airlines began to use the upper deck for premium passenger seating instead of lounge space, Boeing offered a ten-window upper deck as an option. Some early -100s were retrofitted with the new configuration.[123] The -100 was equipped with Pratt & Whitney JT9D-3A engines. No freighter version of this model was developed, but many 747-100s were converted into freighters.[124] A total of 168 747-100s were built; 167 were delivered to customers, while Boeing kept the prototype, City of Everett .[4]

@Vidal99977 Closed the one that DiamondGaming linked you. It was over 3 years old with little content to meet todays standards. In the future we just ask that you check in with a moderator before remaking a feature request. You’re all set. No further action needed on your part. 🙂
Although we would all like this feature, begging for votes isn’t the best option. The devs theoretically could add this in another update, but if the topic isn’t getting votes, there is little you can do about it.
Sorry to say but the 747 family is going out of service and there is already alot of 747’s in the game and in my perspective not alot of people fly the 747 in the game, well when I play. The 747 family is near their end. That is just my thought👍
I don’t think there’s really a reason to add this plane when IF already has the -200. -400, and the -800. Also, just like @Randomguy12 said, begging for votes isn’t the best thing to do, and won’t make you look any better…
The -8 is brand new, and the 747 is likely going to be developed. And hey, with the A380 programme being ended soon, Emirates could order some future 747 variant. You never know!
It’s not about liveries, it’s about practicality. Will it really pay of for IF to develop a whole new variant that likely would not be used that often? Look how many votes this thing has . Sad to say, but it probably won’t be added
