Hey guys! Can someone answer this question for me? I look on FR24 and see all these different types of 737s. I saw a 737-7 and then I see 737-752. There is also the 7h4. The only versions I’ve heard about is the -6, -7, -8, -9, so what are all the letters and numbers after?
They reflect on the specifications (engines, seats) ordered by the airline I think. Ryanair only operates the 737-8AS for example.
The letters and numbers after the aircraft type correspond to the operator, for example a 737-7CT would probably be a WestJet operated 73. A list of each customer codes could be found here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Boeing_customer_codes
Thanks guys. I’ll check that website out!
