IM NOT CONFIRMING ANYTHING, BUT SPECULATION!
There has to be a reason why not much of the MAX is being shared⌠its surely has to do with wait fatigue, or maybe something else. What if another aircraft is being developed to come with the MAX? đ

Also another thing iâll point out is that usually after aircraft work is done from the artists and is sent to the devs, in the next day or two, or a week really we usually see the upcoming aircraft in completely black, or just a buggy version in general.

And with the MAX, not only did we not see any WIP like that, 1 month into beta testing(source: beta testers flying in ES) and we did not even see a WIP of the entire aircraft, just a wingtip.

They also stated that theyâre focusing more in a rework at the time, so as we get a brand new Max8, why not also receive a reworked B738đ?
Note: I just had this idea, this isnât based by nothing that the devs had shown for us in the last few days

Ever since the cockpit rework in 2020, requests for a rework are barely asked for unfortunately.
Though a reworked exterior would be very nice, since the MAX is close to completion.

I do have a feeling itâll be a 737 NG rework of exterior and a cabin opening doors and etc. well thatâs what I think đ§

You might be on to something. Based on how they made the Max 8 by using the -800 as a template, getting a reworked -800 isnât unlikely. The difference between the Max 8 and -800 are not too major. Plus, the -800 already has a working cockpit and pretty sold physics
Might be the a320neo?
The developers have said that the Neo wonât be after the Max, but that could have changed

Always though that the 737ng family needs a rework, just a âlive cockpitâ is not enough to them, as is one of the most used aircrafts in the game. Apart from the a320, that also needs a bigger rework

Close enough. Its an entire cockpit rework, since the old cockpit was pretty much a static image.
It would probably be more of a pain to re-do the liveries rather then the aircraft, there are surely hundreds on the A320 family lol.
yeah ik, my point is that they just had rework on the cockpit, leaving the entire plane as it was before it. It becomes less realistic to fly but not such a problem
Yeah it does kinda suck having a really good looking cockpit and the exterior to be outdated. Though i would rather have other reworks before we get to the 737 exterior. Unless staff deem it a good choice for the sim.
