I would love to vote, but sadly I am votes. Love the aircraft!!! ![]()
Omg YES! I love the max 7 so much. It alongside the -800 and -700 are my favorite planes
Letās hope itāll be added to the sim in short order ![]()
Such a bebe
This would be nice, but why would they add a whole aircraft with 1 operator on it?
Well, currently thereās two airlines with it on order, and the point is that there are also a lot of opportunities for it, simply because of what it provides. The appeal of efficient range with smaller aircraft is large right now. Thereās a reason why the mega sized aircraft arenāt as popular anymore. Twin engine wide and narrow body aircraft are in high demand today.
But also, they added the A330-800. It will likely be passed by the MAX in number of operators extremely fast. And definitely in number of aircraft.
5 to 6 actually
Wait, actually? Google said just SW and Westjet
Southwest, Westjet, Allegaint, Luxair, 2 Chinese carriers I donāt remember the names of, and 1 private
There are up to 6 operators that have it ordered, Ava they added the A330-800
Oh gotcha. Yeah, if they added the A338, then thereās no logical reason for them to not add this once itās certs are done
Not to mention United and American may also order the Max 7 to replace their older 737-700s and A319s. Heck, even Alaska might get some to replace their older 737-700s and Hawaiianās 717s. The 737 Max 7 actually stands a very good chance at being added.
The Max 10 has an even higher chance. Better than the Max 9 honestly. The Max 10 has more orders from more operators than the Max 9
But back on topic, the drive for the Max 7 will grow quickly once it enters service with Southwest early next year. Southwest already has plans to send these Max 7s to Hawaiian. They are also looking at other International routes that they may use the Max 7 on ![]()
I recalled SWA and AAY placing orders, but not the others.
Just did a quick check:
WestJet was interested in the Max 7, but it looks like they went with the Max 10 instead.
Luxair has 4 on order.
Canāt find anything on the Chinese airliners.
A private carrier listed on Planespotters has one on order.
With that info, the airlines with firm orders are Southwest, Allegiant, Luxair, and a private.
The Max 7 has a slightly longer range than the Max 8 so it can easily do PHX-HNL/OGG and LAS-ITO(Aug 6th start), HNL, OGG, KOA for Southwest. If they wanna start transatlantic flights with it in a few years, I would think their initial route would be BWI-KEF. Excited to see where the MAX 7 takes them over the next few years.
this plane is such a cutie patootie
My thoughts exactly ![]()
The Max 7 is on short final ![]()
