Boeing 737 MAX 7 first flight

Hi IFC!
Today Boeing completed their first flight of the 737 MAX 7. The MAX 7 is the smallest member of the 737 MAX series. The Aircraft has 63 orders and it will most likely enter service in 2019 with Southwest Airlines.

Why does this 737-MAX7 have two overwing exits? Awesome though, can’t wait to see this sometime soon in person!

One for people coming from the front, and one for people coming from the back. It probably helps to speed up evacuation time, and makes it easier for the aircraft to meet that FAA requirement.

More likely to make the production easier by using same fuselage instead of designing new fuselage with one exit over wing.
