Boeing 717 Rework

Definitely anticipating a rework of the 717! Cockpit is as if a Maddog had a modern glass cockpit 😌

The MD90 did have the option but Delta Refused it. Apparently it was Saudi Airlines who opted to use screens.

The 717 should if anything have a soft rework, it has a glass cockpit so reworking that shouldnt be bad, a slight but suttle rework like the 787, also better physics.

We definitely need this aircraft reworked!!! Once the 767 and 380 get reworked, it will be the sole aircraft which hadn’t been reworked or had a liveries added since it was implemented into IF. This definitely earned my vote!!

A340 and all 747s but the -8: Are we a joke to you?

I don’t consider a simple gear tilt addition a rework.

Oops I forgot about those as well! I still feel that the 717 needs to be reworked as it’s older than the 744 but yes, the 346 needs one as well :)

Indeed, the 717 has one of the worst flight models of any aircraft in IF, and definitely the worst of any airliner.

The gear doesn’t even touch the ground 💀

Oh, and there’s no suspension as well, so even if you somehow make a smooth landing it’ll look hard.

Tbh, I think it will be one of the last plane to be reworked.

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!

Is it serious?

If nobody cares, then absolutely.

It was written by a staff member, so you can be sure of its legitimacy. The 717 may be replaced by a member of the MD-80 family, because it was originally named MD-95 and was a shortened version of the 80.

Hey, @AviatorJoe619 feel comfortable free your comment here on the topic Boeing 717 anytime and isn’t MD-80. Thanks!

I was saying that the 717 and the MD80 look the same except the MD80 is bigger.
