The Boeing 717-200 is a great aircraft and I feel it can be reworked, maybe add better cockpit graphics or wing flex
Just one more thing

I’d love for the MD-80 to be added with the rework. They might as well since the planes are similar. Way more quirkier than the 717!

I’m fine with the current state of the 717. I can fly it, easily.
But then again an update which could potentially add [6] new McDonnell Douglas planes, the MD-81, MD-82, MD-83, MD-87, MD-88 and MD-90. (Possibly the DC-9). Wingflex this aircraft has, as well as Cabin and Cockpit lights. As well as the Cargo Holds.
But for now, I’m fine with the current B717. Has the liveries I need, and it is a real easy plane to fly.

It has some control issues and some slight “bobs” on AP. I think like 30% throttle gives it like 90% power or something like that.

That may be a slight issue, but the plane is still controllable. I’ve got used to flying it, so I can takeoff in it like a beast, and land like the smoothest thing in smooth town. ;-)

Yeah, I’ve only started to fly it recently. It’s a nice change up from the traditional heavies. But I’m having a difficult time landing it. It’ll come with more practice!

I love watching Boeing 717’s and MD-90’s and 80’s takeoff but the pilots rotate so smoothly and it stays straight but when I lift the nose off the ground slowly it veers. How do you rotate

I’m going to go fly the 717 right now, reading all this reminded me how much I enjoy that aircraft, for whatever unknown reason.

I love the detailed caben, in my opinion it makes the 717 one of the most unique planes in IF. I wish it would be a feature on all of the planes.

This aircraft in real life has many physics problems and is not known to fly super well. The devs wanted it to be realistic and implemented the real world problems into the model.

The 717 is one of my favorite planes! If it were to be reworked then the rest of the family should be included. (MD-80, MD-90, DC-9)
