I made this feature then closed it because I didn’t want to clog the forum and keep getting unapproved comments. (People seemed to think it is unnecessary). I really like the idea though!

So I really like this idea, I think it would provide a lot of realism to commercial flights, might even be super useful for VAs who want to implement even more realistic schedules! The problem is that the Dev’s definitely have a lot on their plate that would take priority over this (like new aircraft and aircraft reworks, etc…), so I think it would be a while until they’d be able to tackle this. That being said, I think this could pretty easily be handled by a 3rd party application! It could basically simulate ground crew and boarding/deboarding operations. Just like In-Flight Assitant or In-Flight Operations, you’d set it up before your flight (You choose your plane and amount of fuel, it could randomize the number of passengers within a reasonable range). Next you would enter your flight in IF and it starts to give you notifications (Fueling started, Boarding Started, Cargo loading, fueling complete, cargo doors shut, doors shut, jetway clear, etc…). It may even be able to actually set the fuel, passengers, and cargo amount for you (I don’t know the extent of the external API for IF). To me this sounds very doable, as a matter of fact if I can find the time over the next few months I may even take a crack at it!
