bmi was owned by Lufthansa, but bmi was losing money. The LHR based part of bmi was sold to IAG and merged in to BA. BA got the A330s but as BA doesn’t operate them it wasn’t interested in keeping any - so I think they were sold or returned to the lessor.
bmi regional still exists (the routes which don’t touch London) and still runs flights in the UK and Europe…

The livery looks nice in the A330.
If there was news there would be an answer. Just search in the top corner under the search button and you’d find anything about everything lol.
