Hello, I require some additional practice with Approach

I would love if the pilots would do some pattern work to help me.

• Too many vectors on my inbound. Based on my inbound position from KBUR, I was already flying towards KLAX’s right base for runway 24R at half cone. All I needed was a heading vector that would put me at half cone on right base at 3k and then ask me to report the airport in sight. clear me and you are done. There was no need to first put me on downwind, then on base, and then turn me final. Those too many vectors made my approach inefficient.
