Hello there IFC, after a long break I am glad to share with you another trip report. This time, I will be flying an A330-300 of Aeroflot from Sochi’s Adler International Airport to Moscow’s Sheremetyevo International Route. During the summer months, this route is regarded as one of the most popular holiday routes domestically within Russia, as Sochi provides access to pristine beaches along the black Sea and hot climates which attract those who spend half their life in the subzero climates!

Air time: 3 hours 5 minutes
Pushback from the Gate at Sochi Adler
Taxiing to the active runway
Takeoff! Relatively light load today so I was able to rotate at approximately 141 knots
Climbing out, then performing a left 180 degree turn to climb over the mountains and avoiding closed airspace
Climbing over the mountains
after 2 hours and 45 minutes the outskirts of Moscow are visible
Descending into Moscow, currently overflying Vnukovo Airport
On final to Runway 06C at Sheremetyevo, ATC was active as well!
Idle Reverse after a somewhat long flare and missed the touchdown marker by 50-70 meters
Parking next to @Viktor_Jartas who was operating flight SU824 to UHSS (Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk) on the larger 777-300ER
That’s all everyone! I hope you enjoyed this flight and will be inclined to comment and drop any suggestions. Also look forward to flying during Aeroflot Virtual’s event tomorrow at UUEE
