Binghamton Gets 2 New Flights On Avelo

Avelo will now serve Binghamton, New York. About 3-4 hours from the city and about an hour north of Scranton lies this university town. They will soon gain service down to the sunshine state:

Starting November 16 2x weekly, Avelo will fly from Fort Myers (RSW) and Orlando (MCO) to Binghamton (BGM) in New York.

The Boeing 737-800 will operate both of these routes. This service opens up a major service for rural Pennsylvania and New York to get to Florida. Currently, the airport only has 1 daily flight - on a Delta CRJ-200 to Detroit.

As said here, the 737-800 will operate both routes. Avelo is positioning some -800s on the east coast now due to their growing network

Ok, thanks for the clarification

I didn’t know this town existed, thanks Avelo
