“Big” Planes and Military Presence @KROA

HEY IFC =

Yes tis I.

Info

I wanted to go back to the airport to burn off some steam from some after thanksgiving drama, so I went back to the airport. I was in for a treat. For some unknown reason the US Army decided to base a deployment out of KROA. There was 4 “large” Omni 767’s fly into the Airport bound for Briggs AFB in Texas. The troops were being deployed to [Classified].

First shots were not of the Omni’s but a cute little SR22 wrapped in a stunning livery.

Next is AA ERJ145 landing from a short hop from KCLT.

Then the flight school was doing some OP’s in the area and snapped a pic of the DA40 that I’ve flown.

This beautiful Beechcraft Kingair belongs to the Governor of West Virginia. He flys back and forth from WVA - VA in style in this beautiful aircraft to see his son whom lives in ROA.

Lastly a collaborative jumble of pictures I took of alot of the Omni B767’s throughout the day.

Thanks for viewing!
