Group Flight Event~so I thought it would be fun to share a bit of the beauty and depart from the area that I live in Bozeman, Montana which is home to The Bozeman-Yellowstone International Airport (KBZN) which commercially as well as private aviation is the busiest airport by far in the state of Montana, which may seem weird to people not familiar with the area because it is the fourth largest city in the state and one would think the busiest airport would be in Billings, Montana, which is the largest city in the state. The airport seems like it is constantly undergoing expansion construction and currently that is what’s going on as they are adding six more gates to meet the demand as well as accommodate larger aircraft. The largest aircraft commercially that comes to KBZN is a Delta Airlines 757-200 that departs Atlanta and returns everyday.
ATC:
I have volunteers to cover the Ground and Tower Frequency’s at KBZN for the departure and I have some people on standby to cover KJFK if it already isn’t being covered at our estimated arrival time.There are 12 gates with jetways at KBZN and then five spots that Infinite Flight will allow aircraft of the size we will be using to park at, so there are 17 spots available, I’ll be lucky if I get one person to come with me:laughing:!
