I usually don’t send reports about this game, but this time it’s simply unplayable. It’s unacceptable to pay €10.99 per month and experience such issues. Since the very latest update, the game constantly drops in performance — my FPS keeps falling from 60 to 20, sometimes even 10. It’s impossible to stay stable; it feels like the game has become much heavier than before.
I have 8 GB of RAM, a good phone with plenty of storage space, and yet I’m struggling to run the game that used to work perfectly fine at a stable 60 FPS, no matter if I was at a big airport or a small one. Now the FPS keeps dropping every minute, every second.
I’m also sharing a video so you can see what’s happening. Please, I’m asking for urgent help — this situation is no longer acceptable. It’s a disaster to have only 10 FPS on a powerful phone, not a low-end one
Did you try to lower your FPS to 30 and lower render control and quality control? And did you lower the plane count to low. That usually fixes my issues.
Hello yes I tried everything to get more stable fps and still not working the strangest thing is that before the actual uptade everything was running smoothly But even increasing my RAM capacity no change
I had 2 updates on the security and optimization of the phone but I can be 90% sure that it comes from the game I have an example I tested the game aeroflyfs Global which is much heavier and requires more FPS than infinite Flight yet when I increased my RAM capacity it worked perfectly I had no FPS problems or constant bug But even with its on Infinite Flight it doesn’t stop
Hello, I just want to say that this is incorrect. Infinite Flight is much bigger than Aerofly FS. Infinite Flight has to send everything that you do in-game to the servers, and have more planes in general. The airports are also much more detailed and there are many more additional stuff that your phone has to compute. I have an Iphone 11, which experiences some frame drops, but in Aerofly FS, it runs smoothly. This very may have been the update of your Andriod OS
I have all options on highest, only frames I put on 30fps (I never checked if 60 works or not)
and I have no issues at all. Did you clear phone cache? IF ingame cache?
Make a https://www.speedtest.net/ speedtest and check your ping. What’s your ping? Do you use VPN?
Sometimes a complete turn off and new start of WIFI router helps.
Aha, thought I was the only one! My phone’s a Xiaomi branch flagship phone, the POCO F4 GT, its a high end android with +12GB RAM and liquid coolant designed SOLELY for gaming. I bought it several years back only to play IF and it never disappointed me so far with all settings on maximum.
Lately these past few months whenever I go near a busy airport the frame rate drops so bad giving me choppy experience during approach. It’s so choppy its even worse than a B&W movie and things became hard to control. It never happened like that before so it caught my attention as I thought that was weird, made me question my all-max settings.
To be fair, there were some changes in my play environment. I usually use my own phone’s internet but a few months back my house just got fiber optic wifi. Add to that I just joined a VA so a lot of background apps are open, such as IF-A, Discord, Simbrief, Calculator, etc.
Could these cause the world’s worse choppy framerate during gameplay?
+1, I used to play with every setting on max/very high (30 fps tho) and it used to run smoothly.
A month or so after AP+ update, I started getting lags around busy airports. The solution for me was to turn aircraft count to none while on approach. After landing turning back to very high works fine maybe a small fps drop here and there but on short final it gets too much. All other settings are still on high with 30 fps
Okay, there is one thing with Xiaomi / Redmi devices that used to be a problem historically - low bandwidth between CPU ↔ GPU. This have caused limitations for Infinite Flight as we’re quite dependent on that.
I’ve asked internally if that’s still a thing. Been a while since I last heard anything from anyone about it but now there’s 2 users in the past 2 days mentioning the Redmi Note 13 so it obviously needs checking.
Still though - it feels strange to me that anything with 25.2 would be the cause of this.
