Big fish, little fish

Parked next to a 787 at Prestwick today, shame to see so many sat on stand.

Must say, great service from all the controllers today, crappy weather lead to an ILS at short notice, which they handled well :)

Although it is sad to see these Dreamliners stuck on the ground, it must be amazing to be that close to them freely!

Lovely shot of the Cirrus and the 787.
Also, pleasantly surprised to see an N-reg in Scotland. Are there many GA planes like this in the UK? What’re the regulations/logistics of flying them?

The main reason we have a N-Reg Aircraft is because the PIC (my dad) has an FAA ‘Piggyback’ PPL. But you tend to see them dotted about, especially newer aircraft that are shipped from the states.

So ya’ll gotta keep to both sets of flight rules? USA and UK? Damn…

I think it’s a bit of a grey area, my dad understands it a lot better than me, hasn’t really explained it lol
