I love playing around with IF. One thing I’m hoping the devs are working on is the LNAV tracking. The biggest issue is that the aircraft overshoots the track big time on segment turns, and struggles getting back on track. Secondary, the aircraft never seems to be able to fly the airway, but is always paralleling it on one side or the other. Any chance this is being worked on?
The developers are aware of this I believe, but a solution to it is complicated.
Yeah I remember asking about this a year ago and hearing that same thing. I’m not a developer but I feel like it’s an equation of ground speed, turn angle, and seconds prior to the turn. At the very least they could just hard-code a turn 20% earlier than it’s currently coded at. That alone would help volumes.
