Best Tablet for Infinite Flight?

I currently use my iPhone 6S for infinite flight but I used to use my iPad mini, the reason I don’t anymore is because the iPad can’t update to he newest iOS, so it can’t have global. I’m looking to finally replace my old tablet and one of the main things I will be using it for is infinite flight, so what would you guys recommend I get?
