So basically, I have saved up some money, and I am looking for a iPad that can run IF good and isn’t overly expensive. I’ve done some research and im not sure if I should get a M1 Chip iPad Pro or if it’s not worth it. I am pretty sure most of you guys have iPads and can help me out.
I’d check out the Device Compatibility Thread which highlights each device (iPads included) and its specs. It also includes reviews by fellow community members who use the device to fly and control on Infinite Flight.

Ipad 10.2 inch 9th generation 64gb. It’s the base model of the newest iPad out. Starting at $329 and it runs IF perfectly! Love it
I have the iPad 6th generation and it works beautifully. Had it for years now and it still feels brand new. It’s great and probably not too expensive. Also, I run my IF on max graphics all the time and it’s good.
I’m thinking about getting a 2018 model, it sounds good and I got a good price for it, is it worth it to spend a extra 100$ to get 256GB Storage? Or should I save 100$ and stick with 64GB Storage?
Save, I have an iPad Air 3rd Gen and I only need 64gb and I have storage for days.
Edit: Unless you plan on downloading and using your iPad for work and that requires lots of downloads if do the 256 but I don’t and never needed to.
Ah yes, I thought IF required more space, as when I had my old iPad (like super old) IT HAD 12GB OF STORAGE 💀💀
I have the 10.2 ipad with 32gb and its storage is fine if your just doing some casual flying if not i would get 64gb
Mine is 128 GB which is good. 64 is good if you don’t plan on filling it with videos and other apps and stuff. I’d go with at least 128 GB
