My whole family was at me today and gave me gifts as I have turned 15. Then lost my uncle gave me a letter where it said a few contact details to a pilot and below was a phone number which I should call.
I got so happy so I immediately called. Apparently my uncle knew this pilot and therefore he arranged a flight from GOT/ESGG to BMA/ESSB. I will then fly back with the pilot and the co-pilot after about an hour. Great gift, huh? :)
Any suggestions on what to ask about and do you guys think that I should bring anything special but an ID?
A very nice Delta pilot let me in the cockpit of a A319 after we landed at Atlanta. I do not expect this, all I wanted was to ask what was the sawing sound during taxi, which I know know is the hydrolic engines.
One time, on a US Airways Dash 8 (not if it was a Q300 or 400), after a flight from Boston to Syracuse, the Captain let my brother and I have a seat in the cockpit. My dad even went outside and took a picture. Another time, this time before takeoff: A jetBlue A320, at Long Beach, bound for JFK, I got to sit in the cockpit before departure. I wish I could experience something like you. Enjoy it. Not many people get to experience this
