Caught some Bengal action at Portsmouth International Airport in New Hampshire. A bunch of refuelers were there helping out as well (not pictured were two KC-46s). This was part of a Naval training exercise taking place in New England.
Great stuff of them boys! 112 sure does love to do cool stuff everywhere but home. Both Bengal birds are due to be repainted very soon with the ex CAG due to be repainted into a second color bird for 112.
Yeah that’s our actual CAG, 01. It tends to do the breaking thing a lot, we got it in April of 2024 and to this day I’ve only seen it fly once ever. At one point it was down for something like five months straight because they had to completely replace the fuel system
They should’ve chosen a better plane to be CAG that one’s faulty.
I think it was the same for the Ellsworth B-1s, their Doolittle bird was down for maintenance a lot. I guess a little bit of paint really takes its toll.
