First up, this past Tuesday, I had a once in a lifetime opportunity. For a Civil Air Patrol event, A naval pilot from VFA-151 “Vigilantes” flew an F-18 into Oakland Airport. I had the incredible opportunity to go on the ramp and see it up close.
During that session, another gorgeous plane parked nearby. From what I know, this is 1 of 3 currently active 737-200s in the US. What a beautiful aircraft.
Here is Cathay Pacific’s Oneworld 777 departing out of SFO. Lots of vapor on departure.
On my last spotting day of 2024 on December 29th, The Detroit Lions flew into SJC on board a Delta A350. My first Delta A350 spot.
The Dallas Mavericks in their private 757 leaving SFO after getting blown out by the Warriors.
One of my favorite shots of the year so far. Air Premia’s gorgeous 787-9 leaving SFO at the peak of golden hour.
Another golden hour spot, this time Emirates’ A380 departing.
Head on with an F-35C from VMFA-314 “Black Knights” when they visited Moffett Field this past Saturday.
Back to December 6th, 2024 when the Secretary of Defense visited Moffett.
That same day, a pair of EA-18 Growlers flew into Moffett for the 49ers flyover. Even though they were landing, they were loud as Growlers always are. Here is one of them.
