Not quite… the 777X route stayed mainly over eastern Washington, while OP flew around the Olympic Peninsula.

Lol thats ok, i didn’t look at the whole flight chart, but i heard it did go around the seattle area
Yes, it took off from Paine Field, just north of Seattle. It then flew east, but still stayed in the state of Washington. It then flew over Seattle and returned to Boeing Field, which is in Seattle.
OP flew west of Seattle, and then came back, so still a bit similar.
The -8 is definitely the best 787 variant.
