Did another amazing flight yesterday on Expert in the afternoon from KSDF (Louisville-Mohammed Ali airport) to KRNO (Reno-Tahoe airport). I have to say this may be my best Domestic cargo American flight (or just my best American flight) I have done. The flight took me over the Rocky Mountains in Colorado and then after brought me over some amazing scenery in Western America.
Aircraft and Flight Details
Airline: UPS Airlines
Aircraft: McDonnell Douglas MD-11F
Route: KSDF-KRNO
Callsign: UPS 1823
Departure from KSDF
Cruising over Colorado. Passed Denver and Rocky Mountains in-sight
Passed Colorado and into Utah. Now viewing the Uintah and Ouray reservation
Just about to touchdown. Southwest lining up on the runway, About to take-off whilst an Allegiant A320, Alaskan 737 and an EVA Air A320 are patiently waiting. We also have what is either Sunflower Mountain or Mount Rose in the background.
Parked with some fellow UPS pilots beside me in the A330F, and in the background the Alaskan 737 has just departed
