Outstanding! I personally voted for the A388, however, would have enjoyed either aircraft thoroughly. Hopefully the amazing development team can take their time and bring us a fully fleshed-out rendition of this amazing King of the Skies. Crossing my fingers for a fully detailed interior complete with different classes. I would love to see the Development Team’s version of a First Class Apartment style suite. I can’t wait to see what the creator’s come up with! Thank you all for the wonderful and passionate work you do!

Um… Are you sure? According to FlightAware.com, QF1 is Singapore to London

QF1 is indeed SYD-LHR.

The reason it shows Singapore is because it is a stopover, and that is because nonstop, SYD-LHR is 20-21 hours of which the A380 can’t do.

QF1 is Sydney - London via Singapore. It’s not a nonstop flight.

Ah! I would have expected a #1 flight to be nonstop.

AAL1 is LAX-JFK, and DAL1 is JFK-EGLL, as examples.

Another example is BA1 which operated from London to New York before it the callsign was discontinued.

I doubt this will happen due to the need to keep the number of polygons low enough to not hurt performance too much…

Yes, but QF1/2 are too long to be done nonstop. It is likely that once the nonstop services do start, we will see them become QF1/2 and the SYD-JFK flight become QF3/4. The A380 flight will probably change number, back to QF31/32

It wouldn’t be up to the current standards without

This isn’t technically correct. Smaller aircraft such as the A220 and the E175 have a full interior because it takes less polygons to create a full interior for an aircraft the size of the A220 or the E175 then it would for the A380 which is the largest commercial passenger aircraft in the world.

Laura mentioned previously, that they might do something similar to the Boeing 777 where they place a few seats strategically through the cabin, such as a couple of rows behind each exit door to create the immersion of a full interior.

The reason why it’s extremely unlikely for a full interior on the A380 is that Infinite Flight has a number of users with different device specifications and some users have lower end devices. Infinite Flight makes these decisions to cater for as many users as possible.

Don’t forget they also mentioned possibly using different techniques to achieve a full cabin nonetheless, so while it is not sure at all, it might be a possibility after all.

can’t wait!

there should be like a settings option where you can adjust the number of seats shown from high to low based on your device settings like you can adjust the graphics quality, or number of seats could be an option when you spawn the plane similar to the livery selection so that way people with high end devices could still have full cabins and low end devices can choose the non laggy option
