As some of you may know, I live and breathe Airbus. But the 747-400 is arguably the most iconic aircraft out there, so it takes my vote.
But…would reworking the -400 remove the -800, -200, Sofia, AF1 and the shuttle carrier? I think that’s quite an important point for clarification.

I wasn’t expecting such a selection to be honest. I’d have thought it was going to be a “simple” not that that’s possible A380 vs. 747 vote.

I’m not going to say which aircraft I have voted for but there a few that certainly stand out to me.
Firstly, the A380 - this aircraft is my favourite aircraft in general and I believe out of the options provided (besides the Boeing 767) is the one most in need of a rework. The downside to the A380 however is the very limited number of realistic routes that you can operate with the A380 as they do only fly to the larger hub airports across the globe.
The Boeing 747-400 - Without a doubt, the Boeing 747-400 is the Queen of the Skies and is certainly one of, if not the most recognisable aircraft in aviation history alongside the Concorde. No matter your knowledge on aviation, nearly everyone knows the Boeing 747-400 and the importance it played to changing long haul travel for decades to come.
The Boeing 787-9 - This is probably the most “update to date” aircraft out of the options listed above, but is certainly another one of my favourites… especially because Qantas operates them… (no bias, I promise). Also the range of this aircraft is something to certainly take into mind as well and it wouldn’t be too bad to utilise a reworked Boeing 787-9 to fly from PER to LHR and PER to FCO…
And finally - I’ve honestly never really grew to love the Boeing 767-300ER or the A340-300 and for some reason (I still don’t know why) don’t really appeal to me.
Once again, may the best aircraft win and no matter the winner, I know that the Infinite Flight team will create a wonderful masterpiece that we will all be able to appreciate whether or not it was your number one pick in this poll.

Voted for B789, dreamliners desperately need rework but I would opt also for A380 now it is back in operation post covid even production have ceased.
Whatever the result, im happy any of the aircraft is going to be reworked🥳🥳🥳
