Going beyond just staying in HUD view- use locked or normal and position the camera so it’s looking up at the aircraft. Then the ground will be out of the frame so it won’t have to keep rendering throughout the flight.
Or go into cockpit view and look up or down until the scenery is out of view i’ve done that before:)
I just finished my flight .
I’m using the new iPad 2019 12.9 i start the flight with full battery and plugged in to power and after 22:50 h of flying my battery is 86% .
Plus low screen bright and lower sounds .
