Battery Inaccuracies

While flying with a fairly low battery, I added the battery feature to the bottom but I noticed that it was inaccurate twice.

First inaccuracy:

Battery percentage is shown lower than what the actual percentage is

Second inaccuracy:

Battery percentage shown remains the same but the actual battery percentage dropped.

Eventually after I landed, the battery percentages shown are equal.

Battery percentages in-app are rounded to the nearest multiple of five. Not sure why but that is how it is. Hope this helps!

Maybe it depends on the device because mine always shows the exact percentage

My bad, I use a iPhone and it rounds to multiples of five. Maybe it is only limited to iPhones (not sure about android devices)

On my Android tablet (Samsung), the battery indicator is accurate to the percentage.

Yea it works on my iPad. Not on my iPhone tho. I think ur right.

Battery Discrepancy (iPadOS v. Infinite Flight)

Thanks for the report, it looks like there was a different implementation of this battery indication in one of our frameworks, which we upgraded earlier this year, that reports lower accuracy readings than before (every 5% as @bensonb noted) We’ll take a look at this. but just for transparency, it’s a low priority issue for now on our issue tracker

I’ve never caught this! Well at least when you see 5% it’s time to charge lol
