Happy Wednesday.
Following the release of iOS 17 and iPadOS 17, I have noticed an issue in which there is a discrepancy between the battery percentage shown by my iPad and Infinite Flight.
At 2:15 this afternoon, my iPad was showing 96%. Infinite Flight, however, was showing 95%. While abnormal, there was nothing to sweat.
About 15 minutes later, at 2:33, I went to lower my screen brightness and noticed my iPad dropped to 94% (no issue there, that was expected). What was concerning, though, was Infinite Flight was showing my iPad at 95%.
Surely, you all are going to say I am crazy. How could this be? I had to have swapped the screenshots while uploading. Nope. Check the ETE to Dest, Fuel Used, Flight Time, or Fuel Remaining tabs. All will show a different number (ascending or descending from the previous), as expected while en route.
Here’s another test at 2:41. My iPad shows 93%, and Infinite Flight still shows 95%.
Further, it is important to note that this is a two-way street. Like the first two images, Infinite Flight displays a lower percentage than the device, 92% and 90%, respectively.
Device: 11-inch iPad Pro (8,1)
OS: iPadOS 17.0
Infinite Flight Version: 23.2.1 (4433)
Is this a show-stopping issue? Absolutely not. Annoying? A tad. It is nice knowing the current state of my device at a quick glance rather than having to enter the Control Center.
I just wanted to put this on the map. Thanks, all.
