Bank angles…?

Do the aircraft in IFS not bank as steeply as real aircraft when on Auto-pilot…? I’ve noticed that they cannot follow arrival and approach paths in places like Dubai, Bangalore, Doha and many more. I have to manually bank left or right in order to follow the arrival and approach paths.

If you track aircraft on FlightRadar24, you’ll see them making sharper turns. Whereas in IFS they tend to overshoot the turns.

Yeah, that is a problem in IF. It’s difficult for controllers too, to make planes do tight approaches, coz, usually people fly the approach paths in the autopilot mode. There is also a feature request to vary the bank angle according to the speed of the plane:

As a radar controller, it feels that auto-pilot’s bank angle of 20˚ in IF isn’t enough/realistic. After observing aircrafts in FlightRadar24, I feel they are able to make much more sharper turns as compared to turns made by IF planes because of the fixed bank angle of 20˚ in IF. Also, IRL pilots can make 360 loops quicker compared to IF. Real life pilots could confirm this. This is basically the reason I fly SIDs, APPs and occassionally STARs completely manually, the only AP function I use is A/T
