Denpasar’s Ngurah Rai airport will be closed for 45 mins on March 4 in order to welcome Saudi King, which will spend a week in Bali after spending 3 days in Jakarta.
This service suspension will also affect the Domestic and International flights schedule to and from Bali. There will be tight securities in order to protect the King and his delegations on his way from Airport to St Regis Bali.
Unlike Jakarta’s Halim Perdanakusuma, Ngurah Rai has more commercial flights. Which means hundreds of flights are going to be delayed and rescheduled. From International to domestic flights.
Fyi, King Salman arrived in Jakarta (Halim Perdanakusuma Airport) yesterday. The delegations brought 6 aircrafts in total (1 777, 2 747s, 1 757, and 2 737s) to Jakarta. It’s the first time a Saudi King arrived in Indonesia for more than 4 decades and this arrival has been long anticipated by Indonesians. There are about 1500 Delegations in total and the party also brings 459 tons of luggage and equipment, including two luxury cars.
