With the tension building as everyone awaits the release of the A320 family, wouldn’t it be great to have the Balearic Islands region to use the new aircraft with?
From Aer Lingus to easyJet to Thomas Cook to Monarch, lots of European airlines fly to these destinations with A320s.
Also, existing aircraft like the Jet2 and ThomsonB738s would look awesome here too.
With Palma Airport (Mallorca) being the largest of the three, it could act as a hub for short flights to the other islands.
And other than the airports and the terrain - there wouldn’t be loads of scenery to model… although there is option for expansion too.
Perhaps, one day in the future, it could be linked to the Paris and London regions for some real world flights.
Fond memories of a visit to Mahon inbound the Med on my first cruise with a Marine Ready Force back in the day. Stopped at Palma 2 years ago on my way to Naples for a bottle of Frezcotti and a stroll. Things change, memories are forever. Great choice and a stepping stone onto the “Continent”. Max Sends
