Back To The Usual

Hello IFC, it’s been quite a while since my last S/V topic—so I just wanted to share a few photos I’ve taken in the past couple of weeks, I haven’t really been that active but I thought I’d just post these for y’all to see!

Flight details

Flight 1
EGLL (LHR) - KIAD (IAD) | VS21K | 7:36

Flight 2
KSTL (STL) - KLGA (LGA) | DL4981 | 1:58

Virgin Atlantic Powering Into IAD | EGLL-KIAD

(@IF.Kaden said to post this)

FUN FACT: ‘Beauty Queen’ (G-VSXY) was the first Airbus A330-300 delivered to Virgin Atlantic all the way back in 2011

CRJ Go-Around At LaGuardia | KSTL-KLGA

I know they weren’t much, but these were just some of the screenshots I’ve taken semi-recently as I haven’t had much time to play, hope you all liked them though!

Really good photos like these also have to do with the composition! So optimal subject placement and amount of foreground/background will make edits like the ones applied here really pop! I’m no expert but it looks like the color & saturation is toned down here, maybe a bit of sharpening, a little bit of additional contrast to make the blacks stand out, and a bit of blur effect to create more depth.

Even without the edits though, I bet the photo would still look really good just because of its composition!

Thank you @nabilk11_777flyer, that one is my favorite too!

Couldn’t have said it better myself—I do basically what you stated here, except aditionally, I increase the vibrance on the subject (aircraft) itself, while toning down the bg (-saturation, -brightness), this is what essentially makes the subject pop

Welcome to the community @Elijah.Kycz, and thank you
