Back in the skies after 5 years…
After half a decade away, I’m finally back in the virtual skies of Infinite Flight — the sim that once helped me through some of the toughest times in my life. IF wasn’t just a game to me back then — it was a place of peace, passion, and purpose. But as life does, it pulled me in other directions: jobs, responsibilities, and our ups and downs. Somewhere along the way, I lost touch with my love for aviation — though deep down, it never left me.
Five years later, I’ve returned… and the feeling is surreal. Flying again, seeing the changes, growth, and details in version 25.1 gave me chills. I had no idea how far IF had come, and it was like stepping into a dream. I didn’t know I missed this much.
Huge respect to the Infinite Flight Team — truly incredible work by such a passionate and dedicated group. What you’ve built here is more than a flight sim — it’s a space that connects, heals, and inspires. And it reminded me of something important: never give up on what you love. Even if life takes you away for a while, the spark can always return. Sometimes, just a small reconnection is all it takes to remind you who you are and what brings you joy.
So here I am — back in the community, back in the air, and proud to be part of this amazing journey again.
